that's likely a wide angle lens such as the canon 10-22mm (on a crop sensor), or 14 or 16mm on a full sensor body. his point of focus was obviously the boot, and the depth of field ain't too bad, so i'm guessing a higher grade lens as i described on an SLR (as opposed to a point adn shoot, but you never know these days as some of the P&S cameras are great).

Thats a fisheye lens. Maybe a Peleng on a crop cameara
