another picture of the boots I've owned forever, if that could help identify them so I can get some more of the same kind or something akin to them.

Looks like Fabiana Scarpa with Norwegian Welt construction and Vibram sole circa late nineties. Leather in and out. You could have those resoled.

This is Fabiano or Scarpa /same thing/ Edwardo style 774. I'm sure about that because I have the same boots, 3mm genuine leather.

These are Fabiano's. I'm not an expert, but I do own a pair that I bought about 20 years ago (I just had them resoled). Apparently, Fabiano was a Boston-based boot maker that was bought out by Scarpa. I think that before the buyout, Scarpa made some of the components for Fabiano. Awesome boots, the old ones!

"Fabiano started as an outgrowth of a shoe repair shop in Boston. The founder was an Italian immigrant bootmaker. He designed a series of boots, mostly leather, that were fabricated to his specifications in Italy, by Scarpa. When Fabiano went out of business a few years ago, Scarpa retained one of the boots."
