Big help as the gloves your get from BC are these and not the older model shown above with a dbl layer of leather in the palm. Nice glove either way and the new version dries faster but isn't as durable.

Forgot to add, the velcro sealed cuff is very soft and not a rigid piece of plastic like some lwt mixed gloves. And it appears to be in the older model. These will be warmer because they don't restrict your circulation at the wrist when you tighten the velcro. Saw a picture of Ueli using a pair of these on a quick ascent of the Dru Coulior in Oct. Good enough recommendation for me to buy a pair. I'm pleased.
