A non-fall-line rap over a sharp edge to clean a route left my rope like this.

I have that same rope, and while I havent worn through it, it gets REALLY dirty REALLY quick (way more so than my other ropes)

I also have found these ropes to be easy to abrade. I have cut through 2 now!!! Once from TRing over a rough (not sharp or angular) edge and once from swinging over sharp rock when working a route. Expensive mistakes! The rope also does get dirty easily, but that isn't nearly as bad as tearing easily! I loved the two-tone style (so easy to use, and am amazed all climbing ropes aren't bi-colored), but I am now looking for a studier sheathed work horse (will be trying out the Petzl Xion dry). What I have done for both torn ropes is keep using them as 30m sections for working on new ropes with a soloist (a nice silver lining since 30m is so light!)
