I recently bought this hat and like it a lot. It's much better suited to a day on the trail than your average baseball hat, since it absorbs a ton of sweat and still looks good. The one thing I was surprised about, though, was that the visor only extends 2 and 1/8 inches from the head. This depth works nicely for collapsing the hat and packing it, but I would have preferred a little more sun cover.

They make a trucker style hat with a foldable bill...Plenty of length for sun protection in the front....
