This is an older one - like 3 years old, I guess. It pretty much sucks. I like the thermometer and the altimeter is cool. It's just not totally accurate. It's huge on your wrist, blah, blah, blah. It tells time, it does take a beating, and it's decent. I'd say skip it though. There are better watches and altimeters available. This seems to be spread too thin.

Hello Ryan. Yes, you do have an older Highgear watch, but this is definately not an Alterra. The photo you have there looks like you have something called the Terra Tech, very limited distribution on that watch. I'm sorry, the altimeter seems off, looks like the sensor may be a bad one. You should really contact Highgear Customer Service; I know they will honor your warranty.
