ZOIC Knicks Bike Knickers - Women's

Today's big story has nothing to do with the presidential campaign, the housing crisis, or even Anna Nicole Smith. No, today's story is bigger—much bigger. So hold on to your helmets, folks, and try not to lose your energy goo. We present to you the Zoic Women's Knicks Bike Knickers. This short-and-sweet riding pant is a flattering knee-length straight cut, with a snap fly (say “no” to granny elastic!) and a side stow pocket for your mp3 player. Additional front and back pockets mean you'll never do without a place to stow your house key or spare hair elastic, and a removable padded mesh liner makes you ready to ride. Argyle stitching on your bum gives folks something extra to look at when you pass ‘em on the trail.

Bottom Line: fabulous alternative to the horror also known as the conventional spandex riding short.

great buy

these are really nice, the fabric is stretchy and allows you to move with no restrictions. They look great with and without the padded inset. The seem pretty durable too. I fell twice while wearing them and they are still intact. I have thicker thighs and a small waist. I got a small and even with the waist adjustments they are still too big on my waist. Those adjustments also seem to slide out during rides. But this is a problem with all the pants I buy so I was expecting it.

Most likely not... they are pretty tight fitting when pedaling and your knees are bent

Great flexibility

These are definitely comfortable and stretchy, no restrictions. I felt the size runs a little on the small side. I wear a size 7/8 pants normally and got a large, they're a little on the tighter side. I have other bike shorts that are large and are too big on me; whereas these just fit. The rise is low, which is fine. They're way cute, and wonderfully flexible, just sized a little on the smaller side.

Comfort and style

These shorts feel great and look amazing. They run a little large in the waist - I ordered a medium and wonder if a small would have been a better fit. I just wouldn't want them to feel too tight in the legs on trail rides, so I use the waist adjustment straps and they stay up just fine. They look fantastic and the padding is great on rocky trails for 2+ hours. After riding the inner short can be removed and the outter short worn alone for any activity. I get tons of compements on them from other bikers! Very comfortable and I highly recommend them.

these shorts are the best purchase I've made in a while. They are super comfortable, stretchy and DURABLE. I mountain bike often and the chamois coverage keeps my butt feeling good even on longer rides. My favorite part about these is that they fit great with the padding underneath and also without. I'm not a fan of the old school bike spandex and these are a great alternative. Finally! They rock for any outdoor activity and they're cozy enough to lounge around the house in-buy them!

Got them... they rock!

I just received these and they fit great. I got a large (I'm usually a large) and the rise is about 9" from seem to top. They feel like the usual rise of pants for younger women, which is nice because I'm not a fan of the to-the-waist rise, but you'll still get adequate butt coverage when you ride. The material is beautifully stretchy, no restriction at all. The pad seems nice, but I have no extensive experience with it yet, though I plan to take these mountain biking next weekend. I'm quite pleased with this purchase.

I have a large, it's got about a 8.5" rise from seam to top. I think the rise is perfect for young women who are used to their pants hitting low, but may cause problems for people used to waist-rise bike shorts. They fit great! They're so stretchy and really cute on. Plus, I love the adjustment at the hip that keeps them from gapping in the back. The inner bike shorts seem really comfortable as well (though I haven't ridden in them yet). I'm looking forward to mountain biking in them in a couple of weeks!

What is the "rise"? It looks pretty low cut.
