Zeal Maestro Sunglasses - Polarized

Slip on the Zeal Optics Maestro Polarized Sunglasses and be the master of your domain. Whether you rule the trail, street, or mountainside, these versatile shades have you covered. Outside Magazine was so impressed with the Maestro Sunglasses, they gave them their coveted 2006 Gear of the Year Award—and we can see why. These sport sunglasses feature Zeal Optics' ZB-13 Polarized lenses, which have an amber hue. This enhances depth perception, intensifies contrast, and eliminates glare. The molded temples have spring-loaded hinges so the Maestros hug your face, and the nose and ear pads have hydrophilic silicon to prevent slippage. With their wraparound design, the Maestro Sunglasses block nearly all wind and sunlight and provide outstanding peripheral vision, which makes them ideal for mountain biking, trail running, or even skiing.

Bottom Line: Don't just be the master, rule your domain with the Zeal Optics Maestro Polarized Sunglasses.

Favorite glasses

By:

I have raced (cycling and running) in the Maestros for two years now and I love them! I don't think I could find a better pair of glasses for all around coverage, comfort and style. They are extrememly lightweight and fit many faces!

good wrap...

decent, truly decent...comfortable, polarised, & the titanium off-whites are truly something...been a month & i think the only other pair of sunglasses i'll need is the sherpa's with the 13% light transmission...quite happy...worn the zeals on hikes, around town, and suitcase packed them without problems...the supplied bag while not protective is great for lens cleaning...get a protective case that can clip onto your packback shoudler strap...

Very good Sunglasses

I wear sunglasses almost everyday here in the amazon and these are as good a pair as I have owned. The only negative is they fog up to quickly.

I was so impressed with these that I ordered another pair for my brother. Very happy with the Maestros. Primary duty are for driving and hiking. The comfort, style, and clarity are a great package. Hope to use these fishing in the near future.

Maestros are Magnificent

By:
June 9, 2008

Bottom Line Up Front: Best sunglasses I've owned - worth every penny. I've worn these while flying airplanes in the SouthWest, hiking and snow shoeing in the Wasatch, biking and driving Red Rock country, biking on LA's beaches...you name it. Most important: the polarized lenses work as advertised, and the glasses stay put, even in sweat. Clarity is stunning, no matter the lighting conditions. As an Air Force aviator, turns out I am in the 98 percentile of noggin circumference size, but the Maestro's fit just right. "Goodbye" to fitting issues for me! Very comfortable, even after 4-5 hours of use. In fact, the Maestros are light and comfortable, and after a few minutes, you won't even notice you are wearing them, outside of the great sun/glare protection. Only minor gripe: when folded (as depicted), the tip of the frame(s) rub against the inside of the lens, perhaps a durability concern over the long haul.

Zeal Maestros Ok

By:
August 20, 2007

The Maestros are ok. Fit a little loosely and slide too close to my face. Especially under a full-face motorcycle helmet. Amber tint is too mild. Almost unnoticeable. Prefer my Nike Tarj classics by far.

So Versatile...Almost Photochromatic

By:
April 24, 2007

While at first glance the Maestro's amber lens tint would appear to be less effective than the standard mirrored gray lenses, it actually provides much better performance. Zeal’s combination of polarization and amber tint in the Maestro enhances depth perception and contrast and while not photochromatic, provide nearly perfect vision in the majority of situations that most people will find. In addition, the Maestro are nearly unbreakable due to the construction of hinges. The lenses are sufficiently large to effectively block both wind and sunlight and the hydrophilic temples combine with spring-loaded hinges to provide a highly secure fit, even when sweating profusely. Finally, the Maestro are sufficiently stylish as to be street-worthy no matter your attire.

Great sun glasses

By:

I bought these glasses for fly fishing. The best polarized lenses I have used so far for spotting fish. The lenses did fog up easier than I would have expected, however.
