Before you load your 50-pound pack onto your back and get onto the rocky trail, make sure you have the Yaktrax Stable Trax Insoles in your hiking boots. The Stable Trax Insoles have a dual-density heel plate and a deep heel cup to give you stability. Padding in the area where the ball of your foot and heel strike absorbs shock. Excellent cushioning

Bought these to replace the stock insoles in my backpacking boots. My old insoles would give me sore feet within 6 or 7 miles dayhiking. I went 18 miles this past weekend with 35lbs and both feet felt as good at the end of the day as they did in the morning. The insole wicked perspiration from my feet and provided excellent heal and forefoot cushioning. Would definitely recommend if your stock insoles are just not cutting it and you can't afford to buy the nice Superfeet insoles.
