The Yakima Outdoorsman 300 Full Size is a no-drill rack solution for trucks that holds gear up top and leave space in your truck bed. The Outdoorsman 300 clamps right onto the truck bed rails with no drilling required. It fits a wide range of truck beds, from compact (see YAK0094) to full size, and is compatible with any Yakima accessory for full multi-sport capability. With heavy duty construction, the Outdoorsman 300 can handle up to 300lbs. Requires round bars that match truck width, sold separately. OUTDOORSMAN 300 SOLD INDIVIDUALLY (pictured black above). Flag

Kayaks are escape artists. That aerodynamic quality that makes them slice through the water also makes them want to take flight. In addition to tie-down straps, bow and stern tie-downs and possibly the Yakima BoatLocker, I'd take a look at the Yakima Crossbar Pads for that added bit of friction and a way to protect your kayak when you're hauling it.
