I have a Subaru Outback (2000) with a factory rack, the oval-type...

I have a Subaru Outback (2000) with a factory rack, the oval-type crossbars. I also have a Thule 871 Fairing. However, the fairing has clips for a square rack.... How can I connect the fairing to my crossbars without having to buy an expensive (and unnecessary) new bar?
