The Werner Athena 2-Piece Carbon Fiber Paddle's small buoyant blades pull effortlessly through the water so you can tour for longer. The foam-core paddle blades enter the water quietly and have silky smooth forward strokes. Sliding across a glass-like lake in the early morning, the Athena Paddle's small blades accelerate quickly and leave you enough energy to paddle through the afternoon. Werner designed the Athena Paddle for low-angle paddlers, meaning a relaxed touring style where the blade reaches just below the water's surface. Low-angle paddling is the most common style since it's less fatiguing.
