Vasque Mercury Trail Running Shoes - Women's
When you're transitioning from road to trail running, the Vasque Women's Mercury Trail Running Shoes give you the lightweight support you need. The Mercury Trail Running Shoes' cushiony midsole keeps your feet comfortable, while Vasque's rigid TPU instep gives you stability on rocky terrain.
Bottom Line: Hop off the road and run down the trail like liquid hot magma in Vasque's Mercury Trail Running Shoes.

Descent Trail Runners!

I bought these for my wife. She's used them for road running, trail running and some lite hiking. They've been great for everything so far. They have a good amount of cushion and a really descent amount of stability. She rolls her ankles very easily and hasn't had a single problem with these so far! All in all these are a great find.
Pretty good shoes

I just did a 14 mile day hike in the Grand Canyon in these shoes. They performed very well, especially considering I didn't do much to break them in. They felt very stable and capable. I did manage one blister on the side of my big toe, but overall I think these shoes worked well.
How water proof are these? Anyone know?

These will do a good job of shedding dirt & water, but are NOT waterproof.

i believe these shoes are worth their price, its true, your feet wouldn't get wet because you stepped in a puddle of mud. which is good, because they're really comfy and endure anything.
Just got 'em!

And they look great! Ordered in the evening April 20th and received them in the afternoon April 22nd--with economy shipping! Heh... 'cause they ship out of Salt Lake and SoCal's pretty close. But, all of backcountry's site are ALWAYS fast to process/ship orders.
The shoes feel great on and are in perfect condition--can't wait to use them in my first trip to Zion Nat'l Park this summer! I'll try and remember to update after my first use! ^_^

Why does this only go up to size 10? I wear a size 11 and I would like to get some women's shoes, the men's shoes don't fit my foot properly.

This is the second pair I've bought. I normally have some problems as my heels are on the skinny side, but these shoes fit wonderfully.
Great Shoes

I love these shoes so much that I bought another pair. I have hiked everywhere in them including a 50K hike.
Excellent shoes!

Very comfy, good support (wore them only 3-4 times thus far, the Midwest weather can be unforgiving), very good grip on mud, easy to clean.
Great Shoes!

This is my second pair of Vasque Trail Running shoes and I love them! They offer huge support to my flat feet and are very comfortable. I should have ordered a 9.5 instead of a 9 because I wear insoles and they are a little snug but still very comfy! I like the fact that they repel most of the snow and rain so your feet stay dry. Will purchase another pair of Vasque in the near future. They have become my favorite running shoes!

This shoe was a little more flimsy than the Vasque "Blur" shoe. I was disappointed in the quality... I recommend the "Blur" version a lot more.
The BEST - Vasque Mercury Trail Running Shoes

I have recently received my second pair of Vasque Mercury Trail Running Shoes - they are the BEST! I have very skinny heels and this is the only trail shoe that I have found that I do not get blisters from. I can take a new pair right out of the box and hike a 14er here in Colorado without having any foot issues. This seems to be the perfect shoe for narrow feet.
I can actually run

For years I have insisted that I am a runner not a swimmer, but my 60+year old dad run's a mountain trail twice a week - and I don't want to be lame so I got these shoes. Perfect from the word go and I ran about 60% of my first trail yesterday. I usually get 9-9 1/2 but tried the 10's and they were perfect fit. No blisters either. I never thought that shoes would make the difference, but the tread does seem to bite into the dirt better than my hiking shoes.
So comfy!

I bought these shoes for trail running/light hiking and they are very comfortable. A bit on the wider side so they are very accommodating to my wide feet.
