Vasque Blur Trail Running Shoe - Women's
The Vasque Blur Women's Trail Running Shoes provide such incredible stability on rough trails that they won the Outside Magazine 2006 Gear of the Year Award. Vasque's Keystone Control System provides the answers to stability problems on rocky trails. By utilizing mid-foot straps that connect the lacing system directly to the sole, the Blur Trail Running Shoes assure your foot stays in place to take full advantage of the dual-density EVA midsole. In addition to the Blur's excellent support, their light weight of only 1lb 3oz (size 7) lets you get more miles out of the day.
Bottom Line: You'll move so fast in this Vasque trail running shoe that the only thing your partners will see of you is a Blur.

I've tested these shoes out on a couple of rocky trail runs, and the main thing I've noticed is how well it does in protecting my feet against the rocks, and stabilizing against turned ankles. The lacing system allows a very snug fit over my entire foot. These are not super cushiony shoes, but they are still really comfortable to wear around the house, or out running. I can't vouch to longevity, but I have Vasque hiking boots that have lasted a nice long time, so I'm hoping these will do the same.

This is a great shoe with good support. The uppers last forever, but the midsole cushioning wears out rather quickly. This shoe is very comfortable. I've worn it on many hikes without a blister, but the fit can seem a little stiff at first. It has plenty of toe room, but also fits snugly around the heel.

These shoes are really comfortable because they have a large toe box.

I've used them for running on pavement, on trails, going to the gym, rock climbing, gone on a 10-mile hike through mud, rivers, woods, rocks. I even wear them to work. No discomfort, no blisters. They fit true to size. I wear a 7.5 and the 7.5 fit perfectly. This is the shoe I'll be buying from now on.

I tried many, many different shoes before finally settling on these and I haven't regretted a thing. They are very stable on rocky, uneven surfaces, yet equally at home on smooth pavement. The support is in all the right places and my feet don't "turn" the way they have in other shoes. Since I often run at night, the huge reflectors are a big bonus. They also come with a semi-fused tongue so they are easy to get on and off, yet the tongue stays put! They are much cooler looking in person than on the website--really an all around great design!

I have been trail running for years and recently decided to change shoes so started testing other brands. I have found the shoe for me with the Vasque Blur. What a great shoe - lightweight, good last and sturdy (could use on road but great on trails.
Thanks

I have never ordered shoes online before so I was a little nervous. I usually wear an 8 1/2 so I ordered a size 9. It turned out the shoes fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and do not get hot like other shoes do. The shoe is also very stylish. I walk 6 miles daily and run two times a week in addition to taking fitness classes. The shoe has proven to be an excellent purchase for my level of activity.

Great all-purpose shoes. I might order a second pair for work.

They were comfortable straight out of the box. I immediately hiked 10 miles in them (no running, though) without any discomfort. Plus, they are really nice looking....they go well with earthy toned clothes.

I bought these for my wife. She lived the fit but hated the color and returned them.

I bought these shoes and wore them right out of the box - no break in period needed. Although they felt very comfortable and looked great - I got excellent comments from everyone - they were uncomfortable on the trails. You have to lace your shoes tightly when running through mud and muck and this creates blisters on the top portion of your feet, where the laces and shoe itself cut and rub into your skin. I wouldn't recomment this shoe if you're going to run very rough or technical trails. There's plenty of room in the toes which I've not found in many of my other trail/street shoes, but this is the first pair that have caused blisters so I'll have to go back to the drawing board and look for another shoe.

The Vasque Blur Trail Running Shoe is one of the best running shoes I've ever had. They fit great and are comfortable right out of the box, as it should be. I demand that my running shoes should not only be great and wonderful, but they also must look fabulous. These do. Double Whammy.
