Voile Universal Splitboard Binding Interface

The Voile Universal Splitboard Binding Interface is the industry standard for backcountry splitboards. Companies such as Burton and Winterstick have completely abandoned their own designs and have adopted the simple and foolproof Voile system. This interface includes all screw-mounted hardware for the touring and riding modes and a pair of Universal Slider Tracks and Slider Pins to quickly switch back and forth from the touring to riding modes. Almost all snowboard bindings on the market today are compatible with the Universal Slider Track. The Voile Universal Splitboard Binding Interface is the only way to go if you need a binding system for your splitboard.

Bottom Line: The Voile Universal Splitboard Binding Interface gets you into the backcountry—combine it with any homemade or manufactured splitboard such as the Burton S-Series and enjoy the pow.

Works as advertised...

The instructions were very clear and concise. I was able to install the system on my board in about an hour. Used it a couple of times in the B/C and it works perfectly. Take a little time to transition from one mode to the other, but seems easier each time. My setup is on a Burton Split S 168, with Burton Custom bindings.

Do you need special boots for this binding? Are these bindings just for going up, and then you switch to high-backs?

Flag

Hi, I work for Backcountry.com. These plates allow you to mount your snowboard bindings to them so you can tour on the climb, and with the switch of a pin, you can set them back on the board once you have put it back together to ride down. You only need your snowboard boots, no special boots are required. Thanks for your question.

Why are the directions for goofy foot riders.

Good product although it makes the board really heavy, I would like to see some lighter materials used to make it and the key to set the biscuits could be stiffer.

Still figuring out how to set up this system in a timely manner. All ways seems to take me awhile, but once done right its super easy to use out in the Field.

Ok, there's clearly about $20 of parts here, but I gotta say... These guys have this stuff dialed! I was extremely impressed by the ease of transformation between split and ride modes. Split on!
