Too short!

When I need to wear warm underwear it is to stay warm, not to show off my lower back tattoo bending over to pick up a gum wrapper. I went with an XL, even though I'm only 5'8". After any kind of activity the bottom is riding around my bellybutton. Under Armour needs to add 4-6" to the body length before I consider their product again.

i spent 50 bucks on this, and i thought this would do the job, and it has mostly. it does keep me from sweating but i still feel cold, also it comes kind of short. i have to sometimes pull it down, i dont want people to see my butt.

Is this product windproof?

Flag

No. It is a base layer designed to wick moisture and retain warmth. I use these with just shell type snowboarding pants and jackets down to about 0° and nothing else for layers, occaisonally opening vents to dump excess heat. My outwear is windproof, which is what you actually want to be windproof, not your base layer. Layering correctly is very important.-BW

This is the top....fit by chest size, not waist size. I went a size too large for me and they work great...I also have long arms for my size, and these fit like traditional clothing, meaning the arms are not quite long enough (not an issue for snowboarding). They are NOT designed to be super tight like the neoprene or spandex style base layers, but they will wick moisture much better, plus retain heat better. Best thermals I have owned, hands down.-BW

All I can tell you is he is a happy man, he says he can play golf comfortably 12 months a year now - what?? I thought he already did!
BUT happily comfortably are the key words.

This is a great base layer. I actually wear it for running and hiking and it works great, keeps me warm.
Under Armour's stuff is always $10 - $20 over priced, but they do perform.
