22 Designs HammerHead Tail Leash

The Hammerhead Tail Leash straps around your boot with a strong, non-slip side-release buckle. A metal snap hook clips into the hole at the top of the new HammerHead tail piece. This allows for a quick disconnect for crossing a sketchy slide path in the backcountry or hopping on the tram at a resort. Since the leash stays buckled around your boot, it won't flop around on your skis. The Tail Leash also prevents unwanted binding release caused by accidentally hitting the tail throw with your other ski. If you have several pairs of skis, you only need one pair of leashes to swap among them. The HammerHead Tail Leash only works with the new HammerHead tail throws that have a hole in the top.

Bottom Line: A leash that makes getting on the tram easy.

Novel idea!

I like the ability to unsnap from the leash with gloves or cold hands and the fact it helps your hammerheads not release too easily. A big improvement on the old style aircraft cable leashes!

Good basic leash

The leash clips onto the tail which makes it easier to get back in should you pop out. It could be made at home in a short period of time and would likely save you 10 bucks.
