Good Jacket, smaller hood

I ordered this jacket in blue, it wasn't quite the color I had expected. Backcounty took it back with No Questions Asked, and sent me a brown one. I love this jacket, the hood is a great addition, however IT COULD BE A LITTLE LARGER. At times the hood doesn't stay on in extreme weather, or when hair is pulled back. Other than the hood size, the jacket is great!

I love, love, love this jacket! It was perfect this winter. I rarely needed a heavier jacket. I fit perfect and it was not too hot and not too cold. The hood is cute and perfect if needed at a moments notice for wind, rain etc. I know I wil l get many years of use from this jacket. My entire family has a North Face jacket. I highly recommend them!

The Denali fleece is treated to be water resistant, not waterproof. If you get caught in a downpour I expect you will be soaked indeed! A light top layer/membrane/shell will resolve that particular issue. On the plus side, if you do get soaked you can also expect to still maintain the insulating aspect of fleece.

We live here where the weather is cold and unpredictable. Own three, the brown one with a hood. I live in these and LOVE the brown hooded one. Color is great, it is warm and as all north face products, is Awsome!! Would definitely recommend it. And Backcountry is awsome. Have ordered before, fast delivery and merchandise has always been what I expected!!!

I have a Green Denali Northface that I purchased about two years ago. I love it! I wanted to get a black one with a hood so that I can wear it with everything! I love these fleeces. I live in Michigan and they are very popular here. They are great! You can wear them in the fall through the spring. Worth the price!

Well, I did end up returning this item. First of all, I was disappointed with the cut of this jacket. I felt the sleeves were too "puffy" and the body was a bit shorter than I liked. I am 5"6" 130 lbs and got the small. I just really wanted it to have a more stylish, feminine cut I guess. Also, while I thought it had good overall construction I didn't want to pay nearly $200 for a fleece jacket that didn't fit perfectly. On another note, I really liked the hood and thought it was just the right size. It was snug enough to stay on and cover my ears but not too tight.

Could you please tell me if this jacket has a hem cinch cord?

The jacket was a gift for my daughter. She has several Denali jackets, but she especially loves this jacket because of the attached hood.

I want to buy this jacket, but i'm not sure on the size.

I have a couple of north face jackets and fleeces, and I would say you would be fine with a small. Since you don't plan on wearing a bunch of layers underneath- you are pretty thin.

I always wanted a North Face Fleece and I am so glad I finally bought one! Just got it today, great quality and the fleece is so soft. Perfect for the Seattle weather.
I am small framed with long arms and torso. The size small was a perfect fit.

I love the jacket. It's just right for that in-between weather and it's waterproof. I just have to remember to wear lighter clothing underneath,because the jacket is so warm.
