This jacket is awesome. I live in Upstate New York and we get a whole TON of snow here and this jacket is amazing. Backcountry.com was also great about ordering and shipping it on time. I even got it earlier than they said I would. 5 stars all the way.

It's like two coats in one, and it's quite warm. I was looking for a triclimate jacket that also used down filling, and I believe this is the only one that fits that bill. If a very warm down fill insert is what you're looking for, this is ideal. I've used the jacket without the inner down jacket and it is still great at blocking the elements. Quality is absolutely top notch. I would have have recommended this jacket and Backcountry to others. Customer service was also very good with Backcountry, they cut me a break on the sale price after the jacket went on sale within a few days of my purchase.

What is the lining of the down liner made of?
