The North Face used its Apex Climateblock fabric in the Women's Apex Bionic Hooded Softshell Jacket. If that sounds like a lot of techy, what-the-hell-does-that-mean terminology, just stick with us for a second. This softshell uses a waterproof breathable laminate to block wind and drizzle, while the stretchy fabric allows for a range of motion that hardshells can only dream of.
