The North Face Rucky Chucky GTX XCR Trail Running Shoe - Women's

The North Face Women's Rucky Chucky GTX XCR Trail Running Shoe excels at endurance races and brutal trail runs where light weight and durability are paramount. A Gore-Tex XCR membrane equips the Rucky Chucky for winter conditions or sloppy wet weather, and a TPU forefront Snake Plate protects your feet from bruising. Plow through the hardest miles with the supportive midfoot shank and the ultra-grippy Tenacious Grip outsole. The North Face Endurance Team chooses the Rucky Chucky for its light weight (a mere 1lb 9oz per pair) and hardcore foot protection during the harshest races.

Bottom Line: Waterproof, stable, and tough. ‘Nuf said.

I love North face footwear.. However I bought a pair last year, and the mesh on the side of my baby toes started to tear. Now I am not sure if I should another shoe with mesh on it. I would want it for working out at the gym..and for walking outdoors... is this a good shoe?

I agree - great shoe, but try the non-gore version if you aren't going to be outside a bunch.

This pair does have that very same problem. I've had mine for about a month now and already they are starting to get holes in them. The soles are very sturdy, it's a shame that they have to go to waste because the mesh wont hold up. I was hoping to use them as my trail running shoes, but it looks like they won't make it to the summer.

Great Shoe

Tough, waterproof, comfortable. They run a little short, so you may have to size-up a half size. There is plenty of room width-wise though. Overall...great, rugged shoe.
