The North Face Ski Light Socks - Women's
Your ski sock can be the thorn in your slope-side, or it can be the most comfortable thing about your ski day (besides the Irish coffee you enjoy back at the lodge). The North Face Women's Ski Light Sock is so chock-full of performance enhancing features that you can actually take advantage of the ski boots you spent a full paycheck on. An insulating blend of PrimaLoft polyester and merino wool provides maximum warmth with minimum weight and thickness, so your foot isn't cramped inside your boot. Very light cushioning in the sole and shin serves as a handy shock-absorber, and mesh in the leg and foot allows for proper breathing and wicking. No blisters, no sweat.
Bottom Line: Because frostbite amputations are more expensive than a great ski sock.

These socks go pretty dang light on the wool, and wool gives maximum warmth.
I'm absolutely in love with my SmartWool socks, I think you'll find that you like them as well. Check it:

Just be aware that SmartWool is in the process of shipping pre-season orders for winter products very soon. If that size doesn't work for you, just hold on and wait for the new SmartWool gear to come in.
