The North Face Ligero 50 Backpack - 3050-3350cu in

New Zealand's famous Routeburn Track has been sending you telepathic invitations for a while now, and you finally have the time and gear to make it happen. Pack up The North Face Ligero 50 Backpack and prepare for adventure. X-2 aluminum stays give sleek shape and sturdy suspension while dual-side compression straps keep your load tight and compact. E-VAP technology ventilates your back, shoulder, and lumbar regions; and a neoprene padded hipbelt adds comfort for long days on the trail. A tool loop carries an axe for crossing that icy traverse, and a top-access zip pocket provides quick access to a camera so you can easily take pictures from the high saddle hut. A large front stretch pocket keeps your rain jacket handy.

Bottom Line: 3-4 days on the trail means a lifetime of sharing the story.

Perfect Pack

I love this thing. I just wrote a review for the North Face Primero 70 which i bought at the same time as this. The Ligero 50 has a better pocket structure then the 70. There are multiple compartments on this pack which makes it easy to access and store different items. Also, the rain cover worked very well when i needed it. Living in Italy and biking to and from work everyday makes this Rain Proof pack a must. I love this pack....5 stars easily...

So far, so good.

I selected this pack for my trip to Vietnam in the coming months. All the usual refinements seem to be here, as well as a rain cover. It is very comfortable to wear, very lightweight, and has a small profile with its internal frame. Snaps and zippers also seem to be of high quality. I look forward to traveling with it.
