Perfect Fall Jacket

I am generally a medium to a large and the medium fits perfectly. It keeps me warm during chilly mornings and evenings, to and from work. The only issue I have is minor: the zipper tends to get caught on the surrounding material quite easily; therefore, zip slowly. I am not a "sporty" person and do not wear "sporty" gear, and this jacket is perfect. It goes great with my messenger bag or a regular purse. I've had many compliments on it. This was my first North Face and I plan on purchasing another North Face for the winter. And Backcounty was fabulous. People recommended Backcounty to me and I will do the same.

I like this jacket its sounds like it would really be warm, but

I got a small at first and had to return it for an XS. It's still a wee bit loose on me but should be perfect for bulky sweaters. Its very stylish and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it.

This jacket is perfect for spring northwest weather. Although it is very thin and not bulky, it is very warm. I wear it everyday and have gotten several compliments on it. I bought a medium and it was true to size. Permaloft jackets are my favorite because they are the cruelty free alternative to down jackets.

I usually find Northface sizes a little on the large size and I'm a 'bigger' woman. I figured they cater for athletic women. I've got plenty of girlfriends who are too small for many brands as they are naturally petite. So I guess it goes both ways.

Yup, it is slim fitting; I'm returning my small size for a medium. Since I have a small North Face Apex jacket which fits nicely (if snugly), I thought I might be ok in the small "Moto." Shoulders are a great fit but the waist is just a little tight. I'm 5' 3" and about 120 lbs, if that helps anyone determine sizes. Like this jacket though. It's sleek. Nicely finished (as are any other of the North Face clothes I've bought)

I LOVE this coat! I purchased it in New Taupe and it's a unique color - kind of has a military feel to it. It's a slimmer fit, which I love, and it's true to size. It's extremely comfortable and versatile for all types of weather. I too have received many compliments on it. A great, unique addition to The North Face line!
