The North Face Crusade Multisport Shoe - Men's
Though The North Face Men's Crusade Multisport Shoe was designed to give adventure racers and edge over the competition, it makes a great pick for long-distance, fast-moving hikes. A true all-terrain tool, the Crusade Multisport Shoe includes a tough, aggressive Tenacious Grip outsole for burly trails and rugged terrain. The North Face used a synthetic mesh upper to provide plenty of ventilation, and sole port help this shoe drain quickly after you forge a river.
Bottom Line: Lace up The North Face Crusade Multisport Shoe, and go further than you ever have before.

Decent Shoes

Had these shoes for just over a year and they're a real good dry-weather hiker. The sole ports are great for ventilation and draining water after a quick ford. They are light-weight and have great traction. I haven't had any problems with the eyelets breaking, they've held up well. However, they're not ideal if you're planning on wearing them around town or on extended hikes in semi-wet conditions- every puddle you step in will soak your socks. A great shoe for lightweight hiking in dry conditions.
I would like to know if you have this shoes the size 8.5 US,

I bought this shoe and I have had to send it in for repairs. The lace strap holder broke. I do like the shoe. It breathes well. I hope I will not have any more problem with lacing.

Had the same problem with a broken eyelet but laced around it with no problem. Returning them for a new pair!
Just finished a 22 miler in Yosemite with a 50lb pack. Coupled with AirCast A60 Ankle support (http://www.aircast.com/index.asp/fuseaction/products.detail
They worked as expected within the limitations of the protection the shoes provides. I am looking forward to my next trip!
