The North Face Chilkats Winter Boot - Girl's
The North Face Girl's Chilkats Winter Boots will be your kid's favorites. Waterproof leather uppers keep her feet dry, while Heatshield insulation ensures her feet stay toasty. Dri-lex fleece in the collar and tongue add extra warmth and dry quickly so your girl won't have to walk to school with wet boots on her feet. TNF Winter Grip soles provide reliable traction on slush and ice, and a full TPU shank gives added protection against jagged bits of ground. No matter what the winter throws dishes out, The North Face Chilkats will keep your girl's toes happy.
Bottom Line: The North Face made the Chilkats because warm feet are happy feet.

What is the difference between the women's chilkats and the girls and boys? They seem to look the same, but there's a big difference in price.

I wear a size 5 in women's shoes and bought size 3 in girls'. If you can fit a 5.5/6 in women's, then you might want to get the 4 in girls' so that you can wear thicker socks. I had to walk up several flights of ice-lined stairs to the front door of the cabin, and these boots have enough traction. I felt safer than previous years in my tennis shoes.
