The North Face XTC Midweight 1/4 Zip Long Underwear Top - Women's
The North Face made the Women's XTC Midweight ¼ Zip Long Underwear Top with a carbonized bamboo polyester fabric. This shirt gives you a warm layer which handles 50% more moisture than a standard polyester shirt. Plus, the XTC Midweight Top's unique fabric absorbs and decomposes odor-causing molecules, so you can ski all day long and not smell like a gym locker-room. The North Face XTC Long Underwear Top's front zipper helps dump heat after a hard mogul run, and a drop-tail hem keeps this midweight layer tucked in.
Bottom Line: You'll love The North Face XTC Midweight ¼ Zip Long Underwear Top's anti-stink, mad moisture-absorbing fabric.

This baselayer is an extremely functional and usable top for a lot of different activities. It is not thick and cumbersome in its material, rather it is smooth and seamless so it is extraordinarily nice to use as a layering item and also really comfortable all on it's own; you get great movement and reach. A great feminine cut, and it works well as a top piece as well as a layering piece...to ski/walk/hike/climb in etc. Fashion, function, and form on this one, and the outdoors woman will get a lot of use out of this top. It does keep you nice & warm & insulated, and with the zip neck addition, it makes it easy to cool-off if you need it. Really love this layer..I am 5'8 and a medium.
Okay, so this is on sale, and I'm willing to snap it up before
Okay, so this is on sale, and I'm willing to snap it up before the sale ends, but is that ugly design really on the sleeve? I mean, I plan on wearing it under my North Face Aconcagua (that I bought here!! and love) but I still wanna know if its on there. So someone let me know!

Why do you think there's a picture of it that says "design on sleeve" if it's not really on there? Hoping against hope I guess? Yes, it's on there.

Nice Baselayer

Seems like a good baselayer. I typically wear a small, and this shirt fits well, not too restrictive. The seams are flat and well-placed and material is comfortable.
As far as being described as too warm, I think that's the whole purpose of a base layer. There is a small graphic on the sleeve, but I actually like it. It adds a bit of design to what otherwise would be underwear.
I am happy with my purchase.
