The North Face XTC Lightweight 1/4 Zip Long Underwear Top - Women's
The North Face Women's XTC Lightweight ¼ Zip Long Underwear Top is far from a typical wicking base layer. Carbonized bamboo polyester fabric lets this top handle 50% more moisture than standard polyester can. The XTC Lightweight Top's zip front helps you regulate your temperature as you cross country ski, and flat seams won't chafe under backpack straps if you're headed out for a camping trip. The XTC Lightweight Long Underwear Top's bamboo charcoal fabric also absorbs and decomposes odor-causing molecules, so you won't smell sweaty after a day of hardcore outdoor action.
Bottom Line: The North Face XTC Lightweight ¼ Zip Long Underwear Top—you'll never think of charcoal or bamboo in the same way again.

I give this shirt 4 stars, for its comfort, and compatability. its great to wear on a cool morning run, especially when its windy. its lightweight enough to even wear under a windbreaker. or just to from the gym. it does snag easily though. thats why i give only 3 stars..... try turning the shirt inside out before washing, that may help alot.

After the first time wearing this I noticed a small snag in the shirt. I thought oh well, and kept wearing it. Every time I wear this a new snag apears. I am not tough on my clothes at all. I have this shirt 5 times and now have about 10 snags all over. No velcro was used what so ever. So this is a good buy if you like to wear your layer less than ten times total.
Nice, but not durable

I like the top a lot: it's lightweight and comfortable and has a nice feel. However, I had problem with snags appearing from day one, and now one of them has become a whole. I am careful with my clothes, so I really think the maker must address this problem, as it appears it is common (see previous review).

I thought this shirt would have been alot thicker than it was. It was really thin, which would be good for not so cold days. It fits tight so consider that went buying

Love the warmth I get. Only problem I had along with the occasional snag was that had one sweaty day on the mountain and can't get the armpit smell out. wasn't this shirt supposed to repel smell? I've tried Shout and Oxy Clean but it still remains. May have to donate the shirt. Help

Works very well for what it was made for. Great for layering and kept me dry therefore warm. Description was right about keeping the stench away. Definitely did not get as stinky as other base layers have done in the past. Other reviewer was right though. This shirt tends to snag easy. Not a big deal since I use it mainly for layering. Overall a great lightweight base layer.
