The North Face Paramount Trooper Pant - Men's - 2007
Thanks to DWR-coated nylon fabric, The North Face Men's Paramount Trooper Pants keep you comfortable on the trails even when the weather turns rainy. In addition to moisture protection, these pants from The North Face also have a sun-protection rating of UPF 30+ for bluebird hikes. The Paramount Trooper Pants hold up to an incredible amount of abuse, so you'll be taking them on the trail season after season.
Bottom Line: Get ready for both sun and rain with The North Face Paramount Trooper Pants.

Little big, but good pants

I purchased a pair of these primarily for field work and have been pretty impressed thus far. I work in a desert environment and even in the darker green ("new taupe") color these pants kept the sun off and kept me cool. The fabric is quite durable, and the DWR finish is also nice. The only complaint I have was that they are about 1" bigger in the waist than specified.

pants fit very well, did not show dirt after extended use when traveling and dried quickly after washing or getting wet
Don't fit me, but you might like 'em

I don't quite understand this review system yet, and I may have mistakenly posted a different review for this model pant. They may be fine for you, but I did not like these Paratrooper pants. The fit was just weird. I sent them back.

I love these pants. They come up to my waist, they are nylon, they have lots of pockets, they are comfortable for hiking. A good color; also, they match my hike boots.
Would not buy again.

Fit was very good, very comfortable pants, unfortunately after about 3 short hikes the crotch is wearing through (well sort of crotch and thighs), it is pilling and thinning. If they didnt wear in such a short time I would definitely buy annother pair.
