The North Face XTC Expedition Tight - Men's

The North Face Men's XTC Expedition Tights use a bamboo-charcoal treated polyester fabric to provide heavyweight insulation and fight off odors. With the XTC Expedition Tights under your waterproof shells, you stay plenty warm for a day of skiing or an extended spring mountaineering trip. Plus, you won't be stinking up the tent nearly as much as your climbing partner.

Bottom Line: Stay warmer and stink less thanks to The North Face XTC Expeditions Tights.

North Face XTC expedition long underwear

By: DeanDay (35)

Warm polyester but the regular length is not long enough for me. They were on sale, so I thought I'd try the x-large. The length is still marginal, and the waist is too big. The x-large really is for a 40 inch waist. The sizing on the chart is right. They have a fly which I consider important, since I wear them hiking in the winter. It's drag to drop you're pants when it's cold.

The North Face XTC Expedition Tight - Men's

These and a pair of shell pants and I was good to go at 12 degrees F and the sloppy/slushy next morning. Good undergarment for cold, breaths well in the warmer weather... A little pricey. Don't let them lie to you, I still stank after three days.

Toasty

Hands down the best base layers I have are The North Face XTC Expeditions. Used them at Whistler. It was 10 degrees without the windchill, and I had my vents open on my pants going down the mountain. And I was still toasty! What's better is that nothing smelled at the end of the trip!!! If you live in the great white north, do what you can to get these! Worth every penny.
