The North Face XTC Midweight Crew - Men's
The North Face Men's XTC Midweight Crew works as a naturally antibacterial base layer for chilly days on the mountain. Bamboo fibers in the XTC Midweight Crew maintain moisture and block odors. This means the XTC Midweight won't get totally stinky on long, no-shower camping trips. Underarm gussets increase your range of motion, and a drop-tail hem helps keep The North Face Midweight long underwear top tucked in.
Bottom Line: Pull The North Face XTC Midweight Crew on as a base layer for chilly ski days and winter camping trips.

Awesome design, super comfortable and soft. It's about confidence and performance, and I can head out to any activity feeling confident of this gear. You can't go wrong with The North Face, and you certainly can't go wrong with Backcountry.com!!! Yeah
Excelent Shirt

This shirt is perfect for fall days or as a baselayer when the temp drops. I havent been able to try out the "odor blocking" fibers for any extended trips. but it doesnt really seem to do that good of a job if a heavy workout is what you have planned. I must wash it between wears even if i hang it to dry/air out right away.
Overall it is wonderful. Keeps me just the right temp if i am working hard or just relaxing. And the Blue is a sick color. I love it!
Is this a relaxed fit? or more body hugging?

It is certainly more of a tight fit than a loose fit shirt. However, I normally wear a large and I ordered a medium in this shirt because I wanted to achieve an extra tight fit for being in and out of cold water... canyoneering etc. This material is a little thicker than some of your polyester layers. It has worked great as somewhat of a wetsuit, trapping in the warmth and maintaining a normal body temperature.

Great Shirt - Great Service

This shirt is not only comfortable and has good styling; it also keeps you very warm.
Aside from the shirt, I have to say the service from this site has been terrific. I ordered a blue colored shirt but received a black one instead. I called; they immediately shipped out the correct color at no additional shipping cost. They also emailed me a return label that I was able to print and tape to the box (of the wrong color shirt) and was able to drop it off at a UPS service center.
I had my new shirt in a few days.
I will certainly do business with them again.
How do the sizes run for the XTC crew?

I'm 1.80 meters tall, and weigh about 78Kg - The Medium size fits perfectly and is very comfortable.
I've found the the Large size in "The North Face" products (and many other USA companies) is somewhat bigger than the usual Large size I'm accustomed to.
so if you're not an American, I would recommend buying one size smaller than what you usually wear. especially for TNF clothing.
Besides that, this shirt is awesome in every possible way.

Shirt works as advertised. Keeps you warm on cool days and wicks moisture when inside and sweating. Would buy again.
