The North Face Impulse Hoody - Men's - 2007
It would be nice to wear your favorite cozy hoody on your fall runs and climbs, but the resulting sweat-soaked, smelly cotton fabric would not be nice. Pull on The North Face Men's Impulse Hoody and avoid sweaty cotton. The lightweight VaporWick fabric wicks moisture and dries quickly, keeping you comfortable throughout your workout. The Impulse Hoody's deep front zip helps you dump heat, and an antimicrobial treatment blocks sweaty odors. The North Face Impulse hooded shirt's UPF 50 sun protection factor helps keep harmful sun rays off your skin, and the hood warms your noggin when the clouds roll in.
Bottom Line: The North Face Impulse Hoody—because working out in your thick, cotton hoody would get old. And sweaty.

Ideal Backpacking Shirt

Although this is probably designed primarily for running, this is my ideal southern desert backpacking shirt. The wicking material is great for hot days and can act as a cover to prevent burning. The hood is good for keeping ears and head warm when tucked into a sleeping bag after the sun and temps drop. Day or night, this is my versatile do it all long sleeve shirt.
