The North Face Aconcagua Vest - Women's

This vest is exactly what I thought it would be. Lighter weight than the usual down vests I normally wear but it is stylish - sort of a 'town' vest. Toasty warm, lovely lined pockets and fleecy neck. Go down a size though, as with my other The North Face vest, I could have dropped a size.

I have two of these vests and I absolutely love them. They are warm and repel water pretty well. They also break the wind beautifully and they are quite stylish!!

I purchased a size small and I was swimming in it. I wear a size 0-2. If this size and ordering, order an XS. Also, the vest has a "glossy" finish. The picture online shows more of a matte finish.

North Face is the hottest apparel on the market and I was a little behind in my Christmas shopping...I'm thankful I found this site and this Light Blue NF Vest is simply beautiful on my girlfriend. Smooth transaction and I would do it again!

This is a great vest; feels puffy, but is still slimming. The best part is the soft pockets and chin liner. The stitching is unique in a feminine way, and the shiny fabric looks great. We bought this vest for our sports team, and had it embroidered, and every girl on the team adores it. The other teams we compete with whisper about how pretty the vests are and we love that! One athlete said, "I've never gotten so many compliments on anything in my whole life."

The size I got was too big - but when I received a smaller size in a different North Face style it was still too big. Great for layering but not good for my downtown life of shopping and wanting to look stylish while I do it. I cannot speak for it as a piece of gear, I am sure it would have been great for that, but it didn't work for my life.

I am leaving for Alaska in 2 weeks and wanted to get a vest for the trip. This was the perfect option - not as bulky and warm as the Nuptse and great for layering. I do have to agree with someone else's review that says the pocket linings are kind of flimsy. That's not a big deal for me though. Also want to point out that there is an interior pocket that isn't mentioned in the description.

The Aconcagua Vest is lightweight, warm, and comfortable. It's a very packable vest, good for backpacking or travel. I don't like the lining inside the pockets. It feels flimsy and papery, and seems to catch on anything that has any degree of roughness. Although it would add weight to the vest, it would be nice to have a placket with snaps (not hook and loop which always catches on sweaters) in addition to the zipper for quick closing. The vest material feels super soft and comfy and the new purple color with the grey lining is luscious. It just shimmers in the sunlight.

This is quite possibly the best vest I've ever owned! It is warm but almost adjusts to your body temp when indoors because it doesn't get hot and can be kept on. The only problem I had was it was large. I ordered a medium which is my standard size but this was big. Which is nice if I want to wear a sweater underneath. But even then there would be lots of room. I should have sized down one maybe even two sizes. The picture shows the lining as gray but it is not, it's a pale brown. I was kind of disapointed in that but it's such a great vest and still looks incredible so I let it slide.

I live in Fla and it can get somewhat cold- 40's to 50's so when I'm outdoors playing tennis or jogging on the beach it's nice to have something light but warm. It's a great fit for tall people and it's a nice change-up from the eternal fleece pullovers. I liked it so much I have 2 of them.

This vest is everything I wanted in a down vest - - not too puffy, not too thin! Not overly warm, but warm enough for Wisconsin weather! Great buy - highly recommended.

I ordered the Vest, which was amazing. But the service was just as amazing. I ordered it to be sent to my sister as a gift. I could track the gift all the way there, and it got to her on the day they said it would. Also, I had asked to have a personal note put into the gift, and they did it hand written. I thought for sure it would be typed, or something of that matter, but it was hand written! I thought that was a great touch. I will totally recommend ordering anything online from this company.

I really like the vest a lot. It's cute and not too bulky. I wear it everywhere! It's perfect for that in-between-seasons weather. It fits well, but I'm about 5'6", and the small is kind of short on me.

I love my vest, it's awesome! I spend a lot o' time in hockey rinks, and it's perfect for them. Super warm and when I'm walking to work in the morning, it's great. The size is good, I can still fit a some what bulky hoodie underneath it. It isn't a figure flattering vest by any means, but it keeps you warm and where I'm at, thats much more important! I would recommend the vest anyone. The price was more than comparable to anywhere else that I saw the vest as well.

After ordering two other vests from different places online and taking them back because they just didn't fit or feel right, I finally came upon this vest. It was PERFECT for me. The fit was good and flattering and perfect for cold weather.

Overall the vest is great except for one downfall. I love the quality, and the look. It's lightweight, warm, and it moves with my body when I am snowboarding. The only area in which I am unsatisfied is that the sizes are on the generous side and therefore, a little too big. It is a great product, worth the price.

I love this vest. I live wear temperatures drop to below zero and I wear this vest with a wool sweater and I still stay very warm. It is a great alternative to wearing a heavy coat. I wouldn't suggest wearing it if you would be in freezing temperatures for a long period of time. But it is great to wear walking the dog or from home to the car to work or school. I love it so much I purchased it in three different colors!

I got my North Face vest so quickly after I bought it, I love it it's so comfy, and looks exactly like I saw it on the site. It even came quicker than something I had ordered from another site before I ordered this. I would definitely recommend it, good for damp westcoast weather even when it drizzles a little, although Sportcheck in Canada I found out does have them about $20 cheaper.

I got this vest my sister-in-law’s birthday. She has broad shoulders because she swims, and it's hard to guess a fit for her. This was an easy solution. No need to fit shoulders in a vest. I sent her the one in pink, and she loved it! She lives in Palo Alto, CA, and it really only gets cool at night. She wears the vest every morning and evening, when it's cool. Since this vest doesn't make that annoying noise that most down vests make it's easier to wear all the time. You can't go wrong with a North Face gift. Great quality and this vest is really comfortable to wear.

This vest is exactly what I looking for in every respect. The woman's cut is perfect, it's packable and has good pockets. I would recommend it highly for any woman who feels her life is in a need of the perfect down vest.

I purchased one of these as well as the Nuptse TNF vest. I love them both. This one is not as warm as the Nuptse, but is still pretty warm. This one is not as bulky as the Nuptse (the Nuptse is still not too bulky) it is light and folds down to a small size when packing it. Very light to wear and warm, you barely know you are wearing a vest. Nice cut on the vest, gives you a nice shape not straight down.
