Hey Ana,I guess it depends on how cold you're going. This jacket is extremely warm and if you're going to be in the teens or below I'd recommend some layering but other than that you should be good.

this is the second time i have ordered a ski jacket from backcountry.com and i want to return it! the first one was also a NF. neither one keeps me warm. I always end up wearing my marmot 650 down puffy jacket to ski in. i live in a ski resort town so i ski a lot and i am hoping what i order for the 3rd time will be a charm!
when i have layers on underneath this jacket, it doesn't zip all the way up - unless you like to feel like you are being choked! it's not very warm, yet the sizing is typical NF sizing. whatever you normally wear in NF, order it in this jacket if you want this jacket!
i am 5'3'' 105lbs and i wear an XS! good luck!

Love it. Keeps me toasty warm and has the added bonus of looking great! Has stood up to anything snow storms have thrown at it. Can't fault it in the slightest. Highly recommended.
