The North Face Storm Rider Jacket - Men's
When it's snowing like mad on the slopes, reach for The North Face Men's Storm Rider Jacket. This waterproof jacket has your back, and your front. Plus your sides…and your head. The fully adjustable, insulated hood protects your noggin, light synthetic insulation throughout the Storm Rider Jacket keeps you toasty on the chairlift, and fully taped seams block moisture. A detachable powder skirt blocks snow as you snorkel through fresh powder, and internal media and goggle pockets hold your essentials. The North Face's Storm Rider Jacket has a built-in Recco reflector to aid ski patrol in the event of an avalanche.
Bottom Line: The North Face Storm Rider Jacket is hell-bent for snow.

What type of fit is this jacket? I wear a medium in a few other TNF softshells (apex bionic, apex magic). Would the sizing/fit be the same? Also, is this a puffy jacket?

The North Face Storm Rider jacket is a great fitting, great looking jacket with all the goodies. I just visited my buddy at Crystal Mt. in Washington and this jacket was perfect. It was very breathable on those sweaty backcountry hikes and nice and toasty when those heavy winds almost blew us off of the Silver King peak. The powder skirt kept me dry and happy in the backcountry also. What more can I say? Storm or no storm, this is the jacket you want to be wearing. I'm a snowboarder and this jacket won't weigh you down.
