The North Face Goliath 3D Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree Climashield HL

The North Face made the oversized Goliath 0-Degree Sleeping Bag for all you taller champions of adventure. Slip into this bag and let the warm synthetic insulation fight the cold all night long. With the regular bag's shoulder circumference of 66in and height of 6ft 4in, the Goliath Sleeping Bag accommodates more girth and height, or just provides a roomier sleeping bag for those of you who don't like to feel cramped while you sleep. With lightweight Climashield insulation and overlapping shingle construction, the Goliath keeps you comfortable and prevents cold spots from developing. The North Face lined this 0-Degree Bag with silky taffeta lining—even tough lumberjacks enjoy a soft touch. On warm summer nights, zip open the hood and use the zipper on the footbox to keep your toes cool.

Bottom Line: The North Face Goliath 0-Degree Sleeping Bag might not protect you from David's slingshot, but it will give you a good night's sleep before the big fight.

Goliath

Used this bag for the first time last weekend. It was 15 degrees on Friday night and 25 degrees Saturday night. I slept on a 1.5" air mattress with the reflective side up of a survival blanket under the mattress. I was so warm that I took off my long underwear and slept nude. I wore a polarfleece tobogan on my head. I never got cold all night at these temperatures. If it went to zero outside, I may need the long johns. One downfall is the pack size. It is a little large for backpacking but not out of the question. I would pack it for the warmth. Very nice bag for the money. Well constructed

Great bag

Really nice to have the hood zip open for a rectangular feel. The foot bed is super soft and great for warmth. Just a good all around durable bag that is great for cold car camping and backpacking. Super versatile.
