The North Face Mountain 25 Tent - 2-Person 4-Season

Engineered to withstand the extreme wind and snow loading on high-altitude adventures, The North Face Mountain 25 two-person tent keeps you warm and dry as you hunker down for the night. The North Face's lift technology uses an upper level vent which enables the four-season Mountain 25 Tent to lift slightly as the wind blows. That way, you can sleep soundly without feeling like you're being blown sideways off the mountain. While you're sealed inside, the Mountain 25 allows you to peek out and check the weather through a durable polyurethane window. And should you come stumbling into camp in the dark, The North Face thoughtfully included reflective guyline loops, guylines, and glow-in-the-dark zipper pulls for setup ease under a new moon.

Bottom Line: The North Face Mountain 25 two-person Tent gives you a bomber four-season expedition tent that's ideal for high camps and summit pushes.

Review by Travel 2 Latin America

Review: Review of North Face Mountain 25 Tent - 2-Person 4-Season We use North Face tents on the Inca Trail in Peru with our clients. This is a very demanding environment and of course it is more difficult because the tents get very rough use from so many people. We needed the most durable tents possible due to the extreme use by a lot of clients. It can get very cold on the Inca Trail and we needed both durability and warmth for two people. For this reason we chose the North Face Mountain 25 tent and we are very glad we did. It has met all of our expectations. Despite heavy use, our mountain guides have not reported any tears in the tents so far. The Inca Trail demands a lot of stamina and we recommend that people train with a lot of walking before coming. Hardcore

I bought this tent in 1999 and it still holds up strong with no leaking or peeling of any kind. I just bought another one yesterday - saw the new one on sale and couldn't pass it up!! Yes, it can get hot in the summer but I have used it throughout all 4 seasons. Whether setting up in puddles or snow, it has held up exceptionally well. The only thing that I have never liked about it is that it weighs a lot for a tent. If I had the extra money, I would go for the new Mountain Hardware tents (super light).

Weather Proof Shelter!

I Have been using this tent for a few years now and it holds up to high winds, massive downpours and heavy snow loads. I once woke up to a foot of snow on top of the tent. Weight is acceptable for this level of protection. One problem--this tent does not breathe well in summer, and can get very warm.
