The North Face Pumori Fleece Jacket - Men's
The North Face Pumori Fleece Jacket proves that not all polar fleeces were born equal. TNF's most versatile fleece jacket, the Pumori Jacket is ideal for backpacking and trekking, year-round. The low pile on the face provides maximum durability and pilling resistance. It'll stay virtually unchanged from wash to wash. Quadrilateral sleeve construction and reinforced stitching in stressed areas make this jacket extremely durable. It is also environmentally friendly: TNF uses Polartec 200 recycled fleece. Plus, the Pumori is designed to zip into shell jacket for complete weatherproofing and warmth.
Bottom Line: The Pumori Fleece is bound to become one of your all time favorites.

Hi, I recently purchased the North Face Windwall 1 jacket from backcountry, mostly I am happy with the Windwall except for the coarse lining in the sleeves. It is uncomfortable without long sleeves underneath. Does this jacket have softer lining in the sleeves compared to the Windwall 1? Please let me know, I am thinking about exchanging the Windwall. Thanks!

hi, i don't know how the windwall feels, but i've bought pumori recently and i have to say it's super soft. i don't feel any coaseness in its lining at all. it's so soft you can actually wear it on skin and you wouldn't feel uncomfortable (unless you engage in any physical activity). it's that soft.

I love the jacket, all fleece, perfect for light winter sports and over all jacket.

Another excellent product from The North Face. Love the fact that they're zip-in compatible with the Mountain Light I bought. With just a T-shirt or turtleneck it's enough to keep you warm in temps down to the mid-50's. Below, that it's time for the Redpoint A word of caution with regards to sizing, TNF outerwear runs large. I'm 6'1"/180 with a 41" chest and a medium in the fleece and jackets fits well.

I was traveling in it with my backpack, and after some time noticed that little parts (from jacket surface)fell off and stuck on my backpack.
Other than that it is ok.

I purchased the Empire Blue jacket looking for something nice to keep me warm, and what I received was so much more. Talk about a comfortable, light, very warm, and great looking garment. I would recommend this jacket to anyone, and as a matter of fact, I actually purchased another one because I liked it so much. The Bittersweet Brown is a great colour. Enjoy!

This jacket was my first from Northface. I recently had a Mountain Hardwear jacket and it served me well. The Northface jacket is very light but the fleece warms you up quickly. I would definately recommend this jacket to students, and people who want to be outdoors in mild to chilly weather.

its nice but its not as good as an older version i was trying to replace. the new one lets wind blow right through it without any obstruction, making it inappropriate for any chilly outdoor weather. its nice for wearing indoors in a chilly environment but dot get caught wearing it in the wind.

Why I bought it: I need a lining for my Alpine Jacket during cold times.
What I like: featherlight, warm.
What I don't like: a little bulky. The sleeves are too long for me (I'm 6ft 180lb, bought a size L).

This fleece does the job of keeping me warm, but it was way too expensive for what it is. The inner pockets seem like they were sewn in haphazardly and the whole thing doesn't seem like it will last long. Although its ok, for the price, I would never have bought it in the store had I seen actually seen it

This jacket was definately a great investment. I already had a north face shell and as the winter began to roll around, I need more insulation and this was the right jacket for me. It is an excellent jacket for chilly nights on its own, or you can zip it into your larger north face shell for a durable and warm winter jacket. I am very happy with this jacket and would recommend it to anyone.

This fleece is great. It is soft, has a good color, doesn't look dumb like the denali, and I actually like it much more than two Arc'teryx fleeces (delta AR and another one) I doesn't compress as much but it is actually worth its price and looks great.

Excellent mid-weight fleece. Great for cool fall/winter days. I do wish the inside of the collar was the same color as the rest of the jacket though.

This Jacket is the first The North Face item I could bring myself to spend the money on and I must say i will not look back. I bought it late in the season but living in Southwest Montana at 6500 feet the weather stays cool late in the year. It is May 20 and we have a weather advisory for 3-6" of snow. I am in construction and spend a lot of time outside and and at elevations all the way up to 10,000 feet and I must say thus far this late winter and early spring this jacket has kept me very warm. Although it is not completely windproof it does a lot more than a hooded sweatshirt. I have also been out is two snowstorms and a rain downpour this spring and the jacket has repelled most of the water. What did soak in dried very quickly. I am very happy with this jacket, it is exactly as described and I will buy from The North Face again.

This was a birthday gift to replace a favorite old North Face fleece that snapped into the outer shell. I was nervous about purchasing over the internet, because you can't touch or feel the fabric... the recipient LOVED his older jacket. I was very pleased with the jacket... the description was helpful and the zooming feature helped me to 'guess' what the fabric would feel like. Yes... he liked the gift!

Bought a North Face Polar for my Son In Law (who I adore) for Christmas. He was surprised and elated! From what my daughter tells me, he has not taken it off except to shower. Thanks North Face.

I purchased 3 of these in different sizes and colors for my husband and sons this Christmas and they were a big hit! The Pumori jacket is warm without being bulky, a good weight for a North Carolina winter. I love the "flat-piled" fleece which doesn't pill. This is just the perfect all-around jacket!

This is a great jacket. I didn't expect it to be as warm as it is because it's only 550 fill down and very light/flexible but it works. I'm 30 miles north of the arctic circle and it does a good job. In warmer weather, 0 and above, it's fine by itself otherwise I zip it in to my liner and i'm toasty.

After reviewing different coats, we both decided on this one, and it was so easy to order. Now we need the shell!

I down-graded from the Denali to the Pumori because the Denali looked stupid on me. The Pumori is a very adequate fleece. Don't expect it to block wind and anything. But if you wear adequate layers underneath... or at least some long sleeves.... you'll be fine. It's a great jacket everyday used. It looks good.... it feels good.... it's a great liner for other The North Face shells. My only complaint is that I could have gotten a similar fleece from a less trendy brand for way less money... but I didn't so... it's irrelevant.
