The Only Mink

By:
April 1, 2008

I first saw this jacket when looking for one for my lover. Unfortunately I ended up needing to order it from another web store. Upon receipt of her jacket she tried it on and was elated at the warmth of it. We jokingly began calling it her "Mink". Afterward I knew I needed to have one. I came "back" to this site and found out it was on sale in my size. I wore it the very next day after I received it. This is even warmer than my Triple C Jacket for women. I look forward to purchasing one for my son. I believe that this jacket will last forever.Does it come in any other colors?

Yes, The Chinook would work in very cold weather. It isn't going to be super duper warm, but it is going to offer a good amount of protection from the elements. If you are looking for an uber warm jacket that will guarantee to keep you warm I would check out the Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Down Jacket - Men's.The Sub Zero SL Hooded down jacket will absolutely keep you warm down and below zero degrees.

I purchased this parka for my college son whose short The North Face parka wasn't warm or long enough for the CT. snow days. He came home for spring break and was very impressed with it. Lots of pockets, great length and soft on the inside. He can't wait for the snow and I feel like the best mom!!

I've got the McMurdo Ltd Edition Parka and for winters in NYC, I'm more than protected. I still haven't acclimatized to New York yet since I came back from the Iraqi war in 2004! I think the McMurdo will be good for you in the all day cold. It's like wearing a sleeping bag, honestly. Good Luck!
