The North Face STH Jacket - Men's - 2006
The North Face Men's S.T.H. Jacket gives you versatility for fair-weather riding. Virtually waterproof and totally windproof, Apex Weatherblock softshell material will protect you from everything but the meanest storms. The North Face used bonding technology to reduce overall weight and increase strength, meaning you can dip into the trees without fearing for your duds. Four-way stretch gives you amazing freedom of movement and a shockcord hem closure lets you cinch the waist when you enjoy the pow.
Bottom Line: The North Face built this softshell to ride Steeper Than Hell lines.

This STH jacket is great for skiing. Almost totally windproof and keeps you warm. I wore an Underarmour cold gear long sleeve and that jacket in late December in Montana at Big Sky the whole time. It's flexible with the APEX material. I recommend this jacket to anyone doing anything outdoors in cold weather.
Love it!!!

Good Softshell Jacket

I've had this Jacket for about a month and really put it to the test this week....went skiing on a sunny, mid 20 degree day with wind 20-30mph. I know this is rated a 'fair weather' jacket but it held up pretty well in the conditions. I had a few layers under and stayed pretty warm, only got a little chill during the lift up. Apex Blocked the wind very well on the way down, and during the gusts. Water beads right off which is really nice too. Wish list for this jacket- hood and adjustable wrists.
love this jacket

Wow, just received the jacket, ordered the red and it is that - I love it. The jacket fit is just right, not too tight or loose. The fabric is heavier in texture but will take a drubbing without showing wear. It has well placed pockets and a nice soft fleece lining. Another well done piece from The North Face and easy to order at fair pricing from you guys.
Thank You!

Gave this jacket as a gift & it has been working great - Water literally bounces off the fabric and is a good windbreaker. Not super warm, more of a shell. Good for warm ski days, too.
Black Jacket - Wrong Picture

I ordered the black STH jacket. The image of the product showed the black jacket with all four zippers grey. The Napolean zipper and the sleeve zipper are actually red. This was very disappointing.

Versatile jacket, great for layering .. bought my 16 year old son one and he wears it to school, snowboarding, layers it over a hoodie and it's crisp enough to wear with shirt and tie when he has to "dress up" ... thanks for a well designed, functional piece!
Great Softshell.

This softshell from the North Face is becoming one of my favorites. Has a very durable fabric, a really nice fit for me, and stands up to the cold very well. I can't wait to take it on the slopes for the ultimate testing.
Great Jacket!

Perfect fit for me! Runs a little big, so the large was the right fit (I normally wear an XL). Good all-around, probably wouldn't wear it above 50 degrees. Cool looking coat to boot.
Perfect!

The North Face: The Best?

I would say no. From the many things I have heard about North Face jackets. I was expecting this thing to be a miracle worker. Thin, but warm. Unfortunately thats, not the case. The jacket basically keeps your body at body temperature. No warmer. So, you never warm up! It's brilliant when it comes to blocking the wind, you will be like "huh? it's a windy day." It's that good. But you won't be warm. You will barely be content. None the less, very attractive looking jacket. For what it does, it's not work 200 dollars. Maybe I just should have gotten a Denali...
Sorry
