The North Face Friction Belt

Create some electricity on the mountain or downtown wearing The North Face Friction Belt. Strap the Friction Belt around your waist and secure the locking cam buckle to keep your pants up as you kill it in the pipe. If you take a digger, the polyester material dries fast so you can switch it to your jeans and maintain your steeze. The Friction Belt adjusts to a max waist size of 48 inches.

Bottom Line: No argument here, The North Face Friction Belt keeps your pants up and your style in check.

Real Disappointment

I have always been extremely pleased with all of the products I have purchased from The North Face. That is until I received The North Face Friction Belt. The looks are great... the black on black logo is truly stylish, however, it is extremely poorly made. The first time i tried it on i could tell that this belt was no good. The locking cam buckle most definitely does not lock. The buckle loosens if any pressure is applied to it, dont even think about trying to hold your pants up with it. Secondly, the metal clamp at the end of the belt fell off the first time i removed it from my belt loops, the very first time. I was already disappointed in this product, and that just added to it. I would never expect this low of workmanship from The North Face and I have never been disappointed in anything i have bought from The North Face. But after this little ordeal, i may think twice about purchasing my next North Face product.

thumbs down for the buckle

I love that this is a wide cloth belt, since most cloth belts are skinny and don't fill up normal belt loops. The downfall is the belt buckle. It does not stay tight. Even if you aren't wearing the belt to keep your pants up, it loosens up and gets kind of annoying. If they would use a different buckle in the future it would rock.
