The North Face Reckoning Boot - Men's

Military styling gives The North Face Men's Reckoning Boots an aggressive look that feels right at home in your favorite punk bar. Unlike army surplus boots the rest of the crew wears, the Reckoning Books use waterproof breathable HyVent inserts to keep your feet dry as you tromp home in the rain after last call. The North Face also hooked 'em up with airbag-encapsulated heel cushions for comfort you don't find in a hand-me-down from some Sergeant.

Bottom Line: Add some extra comfort to your dive-bar style with The North Face Reckoning Boots.

Comfort right out of the box!

Love them. I wore them the day after they shipped. I work in a construction environment. They do well in rugged terrain as well as wearing them to the local watering hole.

Stylish, comfortable, and well made

This boot is a good boot for either day hiking or going out for a night of boogeying. They chafed at the ankle at first, but once broke in they are thoroughly comfortable. They are also waterproof, which is a must for me as I live in the Pacific Northwest, and I do a lot of hiking. The price is right for this quality of boot. I recommend it highly.

Great

The boots are great, I use them to work in. I'm a plumber and spend long hours on my feet. It's not your typical work boot but, for me it's a good feeling at the end of the day and your feet don't hurt. If you buy a pair buy 2 pair one to work in, one to go out in!

A LOT of break-in

I'm a UPS driver and these boots are great. I hated them when I first got them. They squeaked and dug into my ankles. I toughed it out and about 2 weeks later they are the best boots I've ever owned. Great comfort. Great support. Polish up nice. Keep my feet dry and comfortable.

Priced right

I am an old military man and love plain black boots, I wanted something I could wear around town and hiking. I took them on a 8 mile rugged hike out of the box. No blisters they did a decent job, chafed a little at the ankle. Only downside is that they advertise good in wet, but I found myself slipping on wet stream beds.
