The North Face Flask Hydration Pack - 250cu in - 2007
The North Face brings easy hydration to your winter adventures with the electric-heated Flask Hydration Pack. Four AA batteries power the Flask's HTR heating system to ensure you never find a tube full of ice when you go for a drink. The North Face gave this slim hydration pack a 70oz bladder to hold enough water for a half day of skiing, and then added a quick-release hose for incredibly easy refills.
Bottom Line: Stay hydrated with The North Face heated Flask Hydration Pack while everyone else's water freezes.

Watch the rubber O ring

Haven't had a chance to use it in the winter yet..but on first impression, there's a rubber O ring when you detach the hose from the pack that comes off very easily.
Luckily i noticed it the first time I took it off, & found that it has fallen off subsequent times.
The bladder & hose is made by nalgene. This may explain why a few others have noted leaks with their nalgene bladders/packs. They should include a big warning with multiple extra O rings because it's easy to fall off.

I couldn't be more pleased with this pack. The heater comes in extremly handy if you spend an extended amount of time on the slopes as I do. 3 Days in sub 20 degree temps and absolutely no freezing. Only ice cold refreshment.
