The North Face Nuptse Winter Bootie - Women's - 2006

I had looked at these booties a few times, but assumed that they would be too heavy with those serious looking soles. It turns out that I was wrong. These booties weigh only 5oz each more than my old, much less hardy booties. Just tried them out on a 3 day ski trip and I'm absolutely thrilled with them. They have fantastic traction. They don't slip around on my feet like my old ones did. They're very warm. My feet even stayed warm and dry after walking through thigh deep powder in them. Very comfy. I liked them so much that I put them back on when we got back to the car and wore them out for dinner :)

I got the boots and I started wearing them the second I got them. Great boots. They keep you're feet warm and mostly dry. If you step in something that's deeper than the sole a little water is let in. Over all GREAT PRODUCT

I love warm and cozy shoes and pretty much any piece of warm clothing and this hit the jackpot! Can wear thick socks but great with thin socks and basically as slippers to wear outside and not slip and fall.

The Nuptse boot is awesome. It is light, warm and has a band inside the boot that hold tight to your ankle so no snow can get in and ruin your day in the snow. I would highly recommend this boot to anyone that is looking for a basic boot for winter that keep their feet warm and protected from the elements.

I bought these booties after trying to save some money by getting a cheaper version. I ended up returning the other pair and getting these... and I am so glad I did! They are super comfy and warm. I got them to wear in the mountains after snowboarding and to take my dog out in the snow. They do a good job of keeping snow out. I would suggest getting a size smaller... I normally wear a 8.5-9 and an 8 fit me perfectly. I'll probably get another pair in a different color if they go on sale...

these boots are super. I wear them every day on lengthy walks with my dog, and they are very comfy and keep your feet toasty warm. I wear a nine and a half and needed a size 10. I bought a pair for all my family and everyone agrees they are the best.

These booties are perfect for snowy cold days! They're super warm (almost not able to wear them inside warm!) and very cute, which is always a qualification of mine. They're also extremely comfortable and have elastic on the inside to keep them from moving around your ankle. A must buy for winter!

I love love love these boots....and so does my family and friends. I have bought a total of 7 pairs this season. Not only do they look great, but they are incredibly warm,light weight and easy to pack. We have white ones and black ones at our house, and I've been surprised at how clean they stay. We have found them to run true to size.

Super light, and have a decent tread on them. The down is not as puffy as some fear and they are one piece. The hyvent on the sides is as waterproof as anyone really needs. Warmth=yes.
They are pretty tall and are a pickle to get into since all that keeps you in is a drawstring, but once you are in, you don't care.

These boots are very comfortable, but they run way too big! I ended up keeping a pair that's 2 sizes smaller than my regular shoe size. They also have absolutely no traction on snow! I'm not even talking about ice, but snow! They are incredibly lightweight and comfortable though. I would recommend the Sierra Designs DriZone Booties instead (they can be worn outside too).

I bought these in a shoe store in Winter Park for the same price and wore them all week. Had no problem with traction in the snow or ice. After a day of skiing, these are like putting on a nice pair of slippers. Now that I am back home in Chicago, they work great on the icy, slushy city streets and I can even wear them at work and my feet don't get super hot. The crappy city salt comes off easily as well. Light as socks warm like hot coat,maybe not the best for wet days,but as long as it doesn't rain you will be happy wearing them.Next year I am going to buy next pair!!!

I saw them in a store at my area mall before I received my order. I wasnt happy because they looked so light and flimsy. I thought how could this shoe keep me warm. .I have to agree with one poster who said they run a little bit but that is overlooked by the warmth and comfort. BOY WAS I WRONG...I felt like I was was wearing slippers while walking around the house. I wore them out the next day I got them and was so happy. I LOVE THEM . I love you guys!
