The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Girls'

Hey I love my fleece north face jacket! :) I have a gray one, but I would realy like another one in oragen becuase that is my favorite color! :) so if you find one please let me know:)

As mentioned here, the kids sizes are boxy (i.e. big in the shoulders). I couldn't size down or the sleeves would be too short, so I sewed an extra seam on the inside of the top shoulder and that fixed the problem. I think North Face really needs to rethink the proportions for kids, however.

I am 24 years old, 5'2 and around 120-125lbs. I have the jacket in a girl's XL and to tell the truth I wish I had the L. The XL is a little too long length-wise. It is still a great jacket but I would definitely like it if it were a little shorter (like maybe hitting just below the hip or at the hip--now it hits more like a hooded sweatshirt or something and comes down below the butt).

But if you are buying for a teenager, they may not be done growing so the XL may be the way to go. But they also may be very lanky and it might eat them up!

Bought this jacket for my daughter, she is very picky, about feel and puffiness. This jacket feels soft, and is no where near puffy and keeps her very warm in our chilly east coast temperatures. Loved this so much just purchased 2 more for my boys.

For a long time I wondered what all the fuss was about The North Face, but after ordering this fleece jacket, I'm sold! I'm normally a Ladies' Medium, so ordered a Girls' XL and I am very pleased with the fit. It's really comfy and so warm that I can wear it as a regular jacket even when it's freezing outside. I will start out by telling you that I thought the jacket was a little expensive for a fleece type coat, but, my daughter just had to have it!! She, of course had to have the green, which was a little difficult to find. She wanted the coat so much, she used some of her birthday money and paid for half the price of the coat!!!! She is 12 and not a big girl, and we first ordered an children's large....it fit but the sleeves were a little short, so check the sleeve length when ordering. We reordered the extra Large and She just loves and and now it will fit her in the Fall.

I purchased 2 Denali Fleece jackets for my daughters and a down jacket for myself. Backcountry had the best prices on all 3 items, shipping was super quick,and I am so pleased. I will definitely order from Backcountry again.

The shoulders are huge on these North Face kids jackets! I can't imagine what child they're using as a model. It seems like the women's clothes are better proportioned.

Returned the jacket as it does not have the cinch clasps on the bottom of jacket and the width runs wider than a women's small.

Bought the XL as a present for my wife...fits great and she absolutely loves it. Backcountry.com is a great site! I will definitely be ordering more gear from here in the future!

when i ordered a northface jacket it finaly got here i was so exited.but it was the wrong size so i sent it back and wrote my color and refund on it and they were soo nice they sent me another for no extra than i already paid so i didnt have to pay anymore.

I am really enjoying my Denali fleece jacket. It is lightweight yet very warm. I also like the soft blue color. I anticipate wearing this jacket A LOT!!!

i got my jacket right on time, really great. i would be a womens small( 5'3", 110lbs) but the girls XL fits great. nice color, i get compliments on the color all the time! great product!

Purchased the denali for my 10 yr old daughter and I purchased one for myself they are perfect. Warm and lightweight. She is very petite and does not like anything heavy, she puts it on without a fuss. Good service from Backcountry.

I absolutely love the Denali jacket-- I wear it all the time.

My daughter wears it now on cool nights since its July and we live in the south. She cant wait until the fall so she can wear it more often.

a med for my daughter it fit her perfect. Very happy and pleased with both items

I got this jacket for my daughter and also bought the kids size XL instead of women's small. The fit was slightly baggy but fine overall and the sleeve length was ok, too. she is very happy with the jacket and wears it almost everyday and says it is very warm. Would definitely recommend Backcountry to a friend.

My daughter wanted the jacket so I let her try them on at the mall. I decided the childrens XL was plenty big even tho she's a teen. Just a bit longer but I think it will keep her warmer. I told my friend and she bought the L child for her daughter and they are both thrilled with their Christmas presents. I ordered this for my daughter for christmas, I had ordered an XL, to big, sent it back and got a L fits her perfect and she absolutly loves it. I would recommend it to anyone. Now my Mom and oldest daughter want one. I will use Back country again.

I ordered 3 jackets the day after Thanksgiving. Received 2 jackets with order. was Never contacted that the main jacket I needed was on back order. Went to another site,got the jacket.Was not happy with how this order was handled.

My girls love The North Face Denali Fleece jackets. They're so warm. They also have The North Face Denali Thermal Fleece but the plain Denali is much warmer.

Love the jacket! I have a girls L - though i'm a 5'4" adult. Originally i went with the girls XL but found it be a bit more boxy in the shoulders than i like so called customer service and they had a new one in the mail to me for the same sale price (though it wasn't on sale any longer) and told me to return the XL separately and they would refund me but that way i recieved the preferred size quicker. A++ for customer service!! (I have since made 2 more purchases with back country and have experienced same great service every time! )

Love this jacket. I live in NY up near the Canadian border and you know its cold here! Even on 30 degree days it keeps me comfy.

Bought this for my sister, and she loved it - its soft, warm, and does a good job of blocking the wind too, unlike some other fleeces. The adult S was a bit big on her, so I bought the girls L and it was a perfect fit. She loves that its practical and yet fashionable at the same time. Would def recommend this to others - its such a useful staple to have, you really can't go wrong with it!

I wanted a new Denali Jacket, and last time I bought women's Denali, paying the extra. But I learned that I could fit into kid's Large and fits me perfect. (5'4" 110 lbs.) Anyways, I'm very glad that I could get such a quality product with great price. Denali jacket is awesome.

I have purchased the north face Denali fleece for myself twice, and for my father and brother once each. These jackets are warm and indispensable. My friend wanted a nice warm fleece for her six year old, and I went directly to The North Face. The same great quality and durability as the adult only in cute colors and a smaller size. Quality is worth the price, my little friend will get 2 years out of this fleece, and it will look new for someone else!

I was so pleased when my North Face Denali jacket came in the mail! It was in excellent condition, and arrived the exact day it was projected to arrive; it has been a wonderful! It got here just in time, as the cool weather of fall has been getting colder and colder lately. It is very warm, but light and not bulky. I am a petite size medium and I have plenty of room in the Girl's XL. Thanks for a great experience!

Last time I bought The North Face Denali Jacket, I bought the women's one. This time, I bought it from the girl's. Same quality but fits better and almost half the price!!! Girl's Denali Jacket really rocks! Love it!

North Face Denali jackets are the best.
My daughter grew out of hers. We tried the XL in kids, but it didn't fit her well. It was boxy. She is a teenager with a slim build. On the advice of the great people at this site (they were wonderful and patient with comparing sizes) we decided to order her a women's North Face instead.

My daughter received her jacket as a gift from her grandparents and she absolutely loves it.

I personally loved this jacket for my 11 year old daughter. However, when it came and she tried it on, it was too boxy for her. She wanted a more form fitting shape.

We were told the children's large jacket was the equivalent to the Adult small and that is not the case. The children's jacket was too small.
