How does the sizing run? My daughter is in a size 0 or 00 in women's so how would the size in kids compare?

I'm a very small woman, normally a zero. I ordered the smallest size in the womens version. I did have to have the waist taken in but they fit fine everywhere else. Hope this helps.

I ordered my daughter both colors in the pants for a recent camping trip/vacation to the mountains. They looked cute and wore great. I also didn't have to worry about whether to put her in shorts or pants. I put these on her and if she got hot, we just zipped them off. They washed really easily as well.
