The North Face Bella Alta Boot - Women's
Just because it's -20F doesn't mean you shouldn't look good. Slip on The North Face Women's Bella Alta Boot and you'll get warm, comfortable winter boots with a little extra style. Rated to -25F (-32C) this boot has a HyVent waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry and 200g of PrimaLoft insulation so your feet will be plenty warm no matter how much snow is on the ground. The locking rear zipper makes the Bella Alta easy to put on and take off while an Australian shearling sheepskin collar gives these boots a little flair. The North Face knows it's hard to look good when you're falling down every five steps, so they've added Winter Grip rubber outsoles to give you tons of traction on slick surfaces.
Bottom Line: Bella Alta - look good and feel warm.

The "Winter Grip" on these boots WORKS! I love how easy they are to get on and off - great for kicking around on the weekends. The only negative thing about them is the fit is not excellent. There's a weird bump where the inside of the ball of my foot lands - not huge, but noticeable. It's almost like they tried to put in arch support but missed on the placement. With my arch support inserts, the bump is not as noticeable...and did I mention the Winter Grip!?

I love that they are easy to throw on to walk the dog. They are very warm, so it's nice not to have very thick socks on. However, I did buy them in mind to wear larger socks and could have went with a 1/2 size smaller. Either way, I love them!!

These boots are fabulous! I walked around New York City for 5 days in January in them. My feet never got cold and they never hurt. Highly recommend.

These are great boots, warm, well made, and stylish. I ordered on 1/2 size up so that they would fit with warm socks, which was a good idea, because the larger size fits perfectly. They are great for keeping my feet warm in the snow, especially when running out in several inches of powder. I would definitely recommend this boot.

I got these boots just in time for the first real snowfall, and they're great!! The zipper makes them really easy to get on and off, and they're so lightweight which is a nice alternative to the typical clunky snow boots. I love them because they don't look blatantly like snow boots, so I can wear them over and over. Super warm too!

Purchased them for a casual winter boot. They ended up being a multi-purpose boot! These are some tough boots, they are snow, rain, slushy-mud proof boots. They definitely keep your feet warm and dry. My boots have with stood it all and they still look great. Sizes are accurate. Good traction too!

I loved the Bella Alta Boots. Took then on a ski trip. I felt like I was walking on air. The most comfortable ski boot around. Easy to slip off and on. Enjoyed my boots as much as my family and friends!

These boots are great, really warm and toasty and a great choice as your 'only pair of normal shoes' to take skiing.
However, the fit around the ankle is very wide (like a wellington boot) so they move a lot when you are walking; if the collar rubs against your leg repeatedly it can make them a bit sore so I recommend wearing a knee high sock.
Sizing wise, do not take account of the fact you may be wearing thick socks and order a half size larger - these are wide and long cut on UK size so I would recommend ordering the lowest size of UK shoe you normally wear.
If ordering from the UK beware - there are some heavy import taxes to pay on clothing and footwear from the US and UPS will sting you for it. It makes these boots very expensive but if you want them badly enough go for it as they aren't available in Black in the UK.

I have to say that they are very comfortable and warm. Very nice traction, I wouldn't climb a 5.4 in them, but they're great for walking about town or a day on the trail

I purchased 3 pair of these boots as gifts for my daughter and granddaughters. They report that the shoe is very comfortable but the area inside the wool at top of the shoe rubbed against their legs and caused some irritation. They love the boots and will wear thicker socks until completely broken in.

These are beautiful boots! But there are two problems - the sizing is a bit *off* for lack of a better word and the fabric covering the zipper doesn't stay put which means the zipper rubs against your heel and the back of your foot. This can be avoided by wearing heavy socks.

I purchased the North Face pink/charcoal boots. They have kept my feet so warm! I go to school in Indiana, so these boots have been great in the snow/rainy weather. Overall they were a cute buy that keeps my feet warm.

These boots are wonderful. They are warm and when the snow melts on them the water beads up and rolls off. I love them! I get complimented every day I wear them.

These boots are super warm and so comfortable. I can drive in them too. I like the pink color too. I got my normal size and they fit great. I can wear them with regular socks or thicker socks.

It is definitely what I was looking for. I'm a southerner going to school in the northeast so the cold is going to be something completely new, and I knew I would need shoes tough enough for trekking through snow and just getting through the winter. The inside is nice and soft and the outer material is fully waterproof. It dries relatively quickly too.
However, the one thing that bothered me was that it wasn't the color that it showed online. Online, it looked slightly tanner and when I actually got the shoes, they were more green. Maybe it’s something that comes with time? I'm not sure, but that was one thing that I didn't like since I DID order tan colored shoes - at least to my knowledge I had.
