The North Face Women's Lifty GTX 400 Boot will keep your toes toasty in the coldest conditions. With 400 grams of PrimaLoft insulation, The North Face rates this boot to -40F. Not only is the Lifty Gore-Tex lined, it is also fully seam sealed. Not a drop of moisture is getting these suckers. They also have D-ring gator attachments so you can keep them completely sealed off from the elements. A Winter Grip outsole gives you excellent traction on slippery terrain. With a women's specific last and softer flex pattern than the men's version, the Lifty GTX 400 will get you through long, cold days in comfort.

LiftyGTX lifts me up

I needed a good snow boot for snowshoeing and winter walking. My other requirement was a wide and stiff toe box to accomodate a neuroma (forefoot issue). These are a great combination to fit these needs. They feel kind of springy with the NF insole, but with my orthotics they don't feel as bouncy. Only nit is they aren't much higher than hiking boots and I don't think as warm as the 0 degree boots I've seen for men. They are indeed highly insulated and really warm. I wear them around town like tennis shoes when wet and snowy. Nance
