The North Face Resolve Jacket - Girls' - 2007

The North Face Girls' Resolve jacket is a pastel rain repeller for kids who trek through precipitating climates. Fully waterproof and seam sealed, the Resolve will keep her dry whether she's waiting for the school bus or hiking to see the redwoods. The hood is fully adjustable and stores in the collar so it's out of the way when it's time to play.

Bottom Line: A tech raincoat for kids who won't come in out of the storm.

A Good Buy to Keep you Dry :-)

I’ve worn this jacket in a heavy downpour and also in mist and some rain in between. It kept me dry the whole time! It was a bit moist on the inside after a heavy downpour. However, I was wearing a fleece under the jacket so I was dry anyway. It was so nice to be dry after walking through a huge downpour for 15 minutes! I'm glad I can depend on the jacket to keep me dry, no matter what the level of rainfall is. I have worn it in temperatures between about 50-70° F. I don't know if it will be too hot at 80-100°. It was in a size which fit me (Girls M), which is hard to find, since I am 5'2" and wear petite clothes. I really like the pretty color. Great service and fast shipping!

A rain jacket my daughter will wear. She is enrolled in a wilderness program and refused all other jackets because they made too much noise. The Resolve is flexible enough (not that stiff rubbery fabric) to be quiet, as well as non-restrictive. You can add plenty of layers and still retain great range of motion - she can leap over logs and still stay dry. Yes, in addition to being quiet it is also water repellent! We would definitely buy it again!

Color doesn't match.

This jacket is good for guarding against wind and rain but if you plan on ordering it as a shell, the moonlight ivory color of the Resolve Jacket does not match the moonlight ivory color of the fleeces. I bought it as a gift and had to send it back. I'm not sure about the other colors.

I absolutely love this rain coat! It is really light so you can still wear it if it's warm outside. The hood is easy to store once you figure it out. The only thing I don't like is that you can't see The North Face logo on the front because the collar covers it. That is only a problem is the designer name is important to you.

My daughter loves this jacket as she walks to and from school. She is in the rain for long periods at a time in heavy downpours, and it got caked in mud but washes right out.

I bought this jacket for my girls and love it. It is perfect. the size the color, and the quality. My girls love the color and it's soft in the inside. this is the perfect spring/fall coat. I am thinking about getting them another color, and as a parent I am glad that they will have the coats for a while, because kids grow out of clothes quick. the coat is great.
