The North Face VaporWick Crew - Long-Sleeve - Women's

The North Face VaporWick Long-Sleeve crew has impressive moisture wicking and quick drying properties. For warmer days on the slopes or sweaty, punishing ascents, you'll be glad you wore The North Face VaporWick Long-Sleeve Crew. Staying dry is the first step to being warm and being able to play outside longer. VaporWick moves moisture away from your body, and dries quickly, while providing enough warmth to keep you from freezing.

Bottom Line: Warm and dry is a good way to be.

Haven't had a chance to wear it outside, It's 105 here. Love the feel, very soft. A roomy tee. If you want it tight, order down. I'm a small, and it's a bit big. Doesn't shrink! The color isn't as vibrant as in the picture. Overall, I'm very pleased!

Very Nice

Great base layer. This week we thought we'd be "spring skiing" in Utah, but it was much colder and snowier than we thought it'd be. Luckily we came prepared and this shirt kept me warm and dry, but by no means too hot. I let my mom wear it the next day and she liked it so much I let her keep it. Will definitely stock up on this shirt now.

Vaporwick long sleeve

Packed and wore these constantly on a long vacation to France. Traveled perfectly, were comfortable on airplanes and in stuffy airports, layered with other t-shirts underneath nicely. Large is my usual North Face size, and this shirt is true to size. I'm tall, and I think this shirt could be a bit longer, but wasn't too bad.

I love this shirt! I bought one, then bought more in other colors. Super comfy, just the right weight for spring/fall weather or layering. Highly recommend! True to size.

Love this Crew!

I bought 2 several months ago to workout in and loved the way they felt and looked that I ended up wearing them to work with my jeans. Tried to buy more on-line, but nowhere could I find them, except for your website. The only negative is that I want more and can't find them. Hopefully, there will be more soon.

VaporWick

Great color. Material is very comfortable--moves and breathes well. However, I did not like the cut of the shirt--or shall I say, lack thereof. It needs to be cut in at the waist, and also needs to be another two inches longer. The shirt is bulky as opposed to sleek.

Served it's Purpose Well.

I had ordered this item as an undershirt for a skiing trip in February. It was around 10 to 30 degrees on the slopes and this item kept me very warm. At times when the sun was out and it was warming up. I would be a little more hot than normal, but never once did I get sweaty or feel too warm. I would suggest this item to anyone wanting something lightweight to possibly run in, but it still gives you the warmth and comfort you desire.

Great but trapping

By: Kauai(3)
February 25, 2006

The VaporWick crew is great and helps keep you warm but not too hot. It is very comfortable and stylish as well. The only downfall of this shirt is that it doesn't allow your underarm heat to escape, therefore trapping it in and leaving you feeling a bit 'fragrant'. Even for those of us women who normally doesn't have this problem. Otherwise, it’s a great score.

This top was purchased for a 5 day trip at Big Bend national park. The shirts kept my wife warm and comfortable as the mercury began to drop in the high desert as well as the flat water of the Rio Grande with the sun beating down. It’s a perfect, versatile all-weather top; a must have for any trip.

Women's The North Face vaporwick crew L/S

By: Kathleen789(1)
September 25, 2005

Soft, very comfortable, moisture wicking fabric. The sleeves are a bit long on me, and I am 5'8''. Both the short- and long-sleeve versions are waist length and are therefore hard to tuck in, but I love the fabric so much I now have four. The fabric will also pill if you (accidentally) put the tee in the dryer.

Nice Fit, a Little Short

By: drphyllis100035618(0)

A great fitting jersey, that works best in a sort of casual wardrobe way. It's waist length, which is not ideal if you're wearing it for warmth, where tucking it in would be preferable. It is heavier than Capilene, and almost feels like cotton, which is rather nice albeit a surprise. Good quality, great fit.

Cute T!

I felt cute and dry in this top. Great over my silk-weight tank. It was sunny and in the mid-40s, and this T was plenty warm without my jacket during a lesson.

This vapor wick shirt is my new best friend. When I used to go snowboarding I would wear a ton of layers, and none really kept me that warm, or dry. This shirt is awesome. I wear it as a base layer when it is real cold, and alone. The seams are not at your side, so there is no uncomfortable rubbing, and it also looks really good too. This shirt does its job, and it looks good enough to wear as a regular top, even if you aren't working up a sweat.

My favorite shirt

Stylish, comfortable, breathable, lightweight and quick drying - that's the VaporWick. It has quickly become my favorite shirt for everyday wear, cycling and climbing. If I wasn't living in China, I'd definitely buy a couple more.

not too petite

Very nice fabric but I found the size small too big for me. I generally wear between a size 3 and 5. The sleeves were long and it was baggy all around. I found the seams rubbed a bit.
